Ruu Village in Jõelähtme parish, Harjumaa country has 81 residents who collaborated with the local government in order to stand against building of a slate mine.
The citizen association Narva Bright Actions takes on several initiatives in collaboration with citizens, other organizations and local government, in order to better the urban environment.
One man taxi for the disabled created by the LLC Antsu Takso has a collaboration contract with The Municipal Council of Põlva, financially they have also been supported by other councils (Haanja, Varsti, Vastseliina) and some surrounding parishes use the service without a contract, based on demand.
When ensuring the long distance heating network In Hiiuma, Kõrgesaare (364 residents) and Lauka village (153 residents), the local council, housing associations, businessmen forest owners and the NGO Hiiuma Forest Cooperative collaborated in a form of a cooperative.
The local youth in Järva-Jaani came up with the idea of building a skatepark and it is now maintained by the NGO Järva-Jaani Experience Centre. Project was, amongst others, delivered by the municipal council, local entrepreneurs, contributors and through the crowdfunding platform Hooandja.
